Changing Lives

I took my leave from a 35-year career in journalism in March 2015 and have since dedicated myself to supporting two charities who exist to eradicate poverty in southern rural India.

I divide my time between living in Andhra Pradesh, India, and my home town of Penarth, south Wales, where I work as a swimming instructor and hold exhibitions and talks to raise awareness of my voluntary activities.

Changing Lives in India does exactly what it says on the tin, as one advertising slogan goes... the aim is to protect the vulnerable, lift marginalised children and families out of crippling poverty, provide healthcare, education and feeding programmes and create positive outcomes for some of India's most downtrodden people.
